I thought some people may be interested in this book. It lists 4600 campgrounds across the U.S. and has a brief description of them. Some of the more important things it lists are price and maximum length of stay. There are a good number of campgrounds listed as FREE with maximum stay of 14 days. This could be a great resource to use when planning a long, cheap camping trip across the country.

Nope, no trail maps because there are just too many small campgrounds listed and its already fairly thick. It's not perfect, but it's still a pretty good resource. Hope it helps someone out.

Thanks for the book suggestion and bookstore, draydel. I ordered it from that site yesterday, definitely cheaper thank any bookstore would have had it. This book seems like it will be a great resource for finding good places to camp.
