    WELCOME TO MY HELL
    By John Williams

    Tick tock
    Tick tock
    Goes the old
    Mahogany
    Grandfather clock

    Bing
Its one o’clock in the morning
    I hear it chime
    From the living room

    Pictures of my life
    Adorn the walls
    And my shadow
    Drapes across the body
    Of my wife

    Its two o’clock
    My hands are red
    With my loved ones blood

    The knife
    Is laying dormant
    On the floor
    Next to her

    Its three o'clock
    The sheets are bundled up
    Then burnt to ashes

    I pick up the knife
    Slit my wrists
    Then cover them
    With bandages

    Its four o'clock
    The graves are still fresh
    In the garden
    Out back

    Mud marks my steps
    23 in all
    As I killed my wife

    Its five o'clock
    And I prepare the water
    In the bathroom

I let the room fill with steam
    I place my bandaged wrists
    Under the scalding
    hot water
Reminding me that I'm still alive

    Its six o'clock
    My skin is clean
But my soul never will be

    I gaze out the window
    At my wife’s grave
    My daughter wakes up
    And cries for her mother
    Best not keep family apart

    Its seven o'clock
    My daughter is dead
    Her once blond hair
    Now is red

    I sit upon her bed
    And gaze at her walls
    One picture catches my eye
A picture she had drawn of her family
    I'm not there
    Another man
    Has taken my place

    Its eight o'clock
And I prepare to go to church
    To confesses my sins

“Oh father who art in heaven
    Damn me if you will
But I just sent two angels
    Up to live with you
    Watch over them
    Like I know you will
    Amen”

    Its nine o'clock
    And I’m parked out side
    The church
Waiting for the people to clear out
So I can accomplish my evil deed

    I enter
    Knife in hand
    I approach the
    Adulterine cockroach
    At the pew

    Its ten o'clock
    The priest is dead
    Hung from the cross
Of the saint whom he worshiped

    The alter is red
    Stained with the blood
    Of a false priest
Man of the cloth on Sunday
    Wife stealer every other day

    Its eleven o'clock
    Nearing the end

    I prepare my last supper
    Of pasta and beer
    I drink to God
And I drink to the Devil
    Each will do with me
    What they will

    Its twelve o'clock
Sirens fill the noon time air

    The officers find me
    Sitting at my chair
    Empty plate before me
The knife run right threw me

    I am buried
    In the cemetery
    An unmarked stone
    Marks that I'm there

Then it all starts over again
    Welcome to my hell
    -End-
