Are you going to watch the football games and who do you think will be the new European Champion?

My vote goes to France, although I live in the Netherlands and I will support the Dutch team.

Although I'm not European, I still have a great interest in Euro 2004. I watched the France-England match, and it was crazy. I don't know who'll win the tournament.

 

So far it is a good championship.
France got lucky and Denmark had to win against Italy.
Still I think France will win the championship.
Tomorrow is the very important match Netherlands - Germany.

 

You don't have a clue, Spain is gonna win, hehehehe, although we have never won nothing, anytime has to be the first time, and where better than in Portugal, with our neighbours.
I was very sorry about Portugal loose with Greece, but i think they will won Russia tonight, and as we are going to win Greece, after that, we can just tie the last match and go both to the final round, right?
And what about a final Portugal-Spain in Lisbon?? It would be great.

Both teams played great football (as far as I can say that ) but the Netherlands team did a lot of unfair fouls...

yeah the germans actually played better (hard to believe given their run of results prior to the championships but the germans always seem to produce when they have to).


the dutch did get lucky to draw though.. perhaps they deserve their little bit f luck.. lord knows they have struggle enough with luck in the past.

 

Yeah, we acutally really played better... Hollan just had luck, that's all The German team is only good at tournaments... the last 6 years, our team wins nearly nothing, but we are European champion 2000 and vice world champion 2002...

 

it'll be interesting to see who qualifies from your group. at the moment I still fancy the czech rep and holland. the question is how germany is going to do against Latvia. the german team in the run up to the European championships have struggled against weaker opposition.

Bad game from the Netherlands and the Germans.
Portugal and Spain did not play that well too, Greece will go to the next round I think and either Spain or Portugal will be kicked out of the tournament.
I will be cheering for Portugal.

Sweden are just off to a lucky start. They do not have the menpower to win this... You cannot base your entire team on one player (Larsen)...


I have always been a fan of Eng-a-land... Yet the team is weaker than the last Euro... We do have Gerrard, but no Shearer and no Teddy... the defeath against France was terrible...

Holland seems to have the best team, player-wise... yet they also have a challanging group.
I still favour England, but that all depands of the game against Switzerland, which i am viewing now.
