I made this top and I haven't hemmed the bottom yet because I realized that it's about 4 inches to big around at the top. I'm a little over it already, or I would take it in along the sides. I think I'll send it to my MIL. Do you guys think it would sell on e-bay?

Lena--Is that a pattern I sent? It looks familiar. :)
If it is the pattern that I think it is, when I made one it was way too big too! I fixed it by sewing a new seam inside of the old one. Does that make sense? It turned out ok after that.

Yep! It is! I can't wait to make the dress.

Hmmm...Do you mean like...cut up the sides of the shirt, resew, and at the band, on the top, push it inside of itself and sew over the top?

    Thanks for the tips!

I just cut along the seam, including the band, and then re-stitched it. It is probably a completely incorrect way to fix it, but since when do I play by the rules? LOL :&
It does look ok, though. I like yours. The black and white is nice. Mine is a navy and off white print with an off white band. It's ok, but not one of my favorites.
