so at long last I've made a mental commitment to lose 15-20 lbs by late june when I'll be going to England to study abroad. Today is day one... I ate lots of nuts..which may be bad but thats ok... I hope I can do it.. It shouldnt be too hard. Wish me luck and perseverance. Tracy
Good luck! Also, have fun in England, it's quite nice here, sometimes we even have nice weather!!!! As for the weight loss, i've tried but not succeded. i think it's my lack off will power but i'm feeling quite 'in-control' at the moment so i might give it another go! BEST OF LUCK!
ah, so it seems like things are going pretty well... its been a good week of good eating!! now I have to get into working out again... luckily I think this weekend my beau and I are going to go for walks and hopefully we'll get to climb some trees... I think i want to try to work out like 4 times a week.. Hopefully I can do it.. wish me luck yall.. I really want a "better" body. I wanna do this!!
this weekend was a lil tough.... I ate lots of food...but it wasn't bad food...I also drank loads of beer..meaning like 6... it was all in fun but now I have to get back into life... I think this week will be good, I wonder when mum and I are going food shopping... later Tracy
aiii!!! I ate pretty good today...though I've noticed that getting high makes me eat loads.. I should be careful and try to get in control of the munchies...I used to not get em... I'll prob try to eat loads of healthy food when I'm altered
it seems to me like you're going no where. Eating "loads" of healthy food does not make you any skinnier. Try to eat 6 small meals a day, minimizing the amount you eat of these foods: pasta (well any grain food), fruits (high in sugar), fats and dairy of course. Oh and don't eat nuts. I'm not 100% on the fruits part, I've had a friend tell me that (the reason I say that is because sugar gives you energy) Try to drink a lot of water, especially if you're working out. Then reduce the water intake (like a week before you go), and do a lot of cardio. (to rid water weight) But please make sure not to dehydrate yourself.
loads of healthy food will make you thinner...lol... I've lost 3 lbs in the past week... I've been eating 6 times a day in smallish meals and its working... loads of food to me is probably different than loads of food to some people... I've been trying to keep my fats up to a fair extent...I need it for my skin.. I also have cut down on white grains, grain in general. it seems to be working... besides you know...eating healthy foods, esp raw fruits and veggies is low in calories and high in fiber...thus its supposed to help one lose weight and be in a better health situation... if you have anymore tips feel free to post them... actually Nuts are apparently meant to be really good for you, they are rich in good fats, NOT bad fats, and are meant to be really good for weight management and stuff, providing that there not salted.
ah, so i have kinda fallen off the wagon.. I really want to start doing better... I am considering going on a fast for a few days and then prob fasting one or two days a week for a while after that.. I want to discipline eating a bit more... Its so confusing, there's so much I want to do... At least I'm out of school now so I have all the time in the world.. for a month..lol until oxford. I'm not sure if I've gained weight or not...
