Accidentally semi-streaked a campsite

I was camping with friends at the weekend at a very laid back campsite, lots of hippies. It's behind a pub by a canal in Wiltshire in the UK, and was absolutely packed. On Saturday there was an engagement party in a marquee on the edge of the campsite, and there was a lot of drinking and a real festival atmosphere.

So, Saturday night, I'm up late with my friends sat round a smouldering barbeque drinking. It's late, every kind in the place is in bed, and most people are pretty drunk/stoned. I get to thinking that I bet I could make it to the toilets and back naked, and no-one would notice. Nobody pursues the idea or suggests I try it. About 2:30, I go to bed. There's lightning in the distance, but no thunder. After about half an hour, I'm woken up by torrential rain starting, and realise I need the toilet. So, am I going to get dressed, just to get my clothes wet? Hell no.

I get up, naked, and just head for the toilet. There's lots of people around, but they're all hurrying to and from their tents in the rain, and not one of them notices the naked guy. As I'm getting close, I realise that there are still 30 odd people in the marquee, near the toilet door, and that I will be illuminated by the light from the toilet block. Still, they're all pretty drunk, and I don't think they'll notice. Then, just as I'm about 10 feet from the door, and about 20 feet from the marquee........lightning! It's suddenly like daylight, and there I am, walking past people naked!

I go on into the toilet, still thinking that no-one has noticed. There's no-one there (I hadn't thought of the possibility that there might be 3 people in there!). When I head back out however, I discover that I was indeed seen. As I leave the toilet block, there's a loud cheer and much whooping from the marquee! I wave, and head back to my tent. Once I'm away from the marquee, it's like being invisible again. I even get myself a drink from the table in the middle of our tents, and not a soul notices.

So, there you go. Naked in a large crowd of clothed people, and no-one minded at all.

Of course drunk people won't mind a naked person, it's good fun! Excellent story though.

 

Im sure even if those people were sober they wouldnt have minded seeing you naked. it was the middle of the night and it was raining and putting a bunch of clothes on just to get them wet just to go to the toilet is not practical so i really doubt there wouldve been any fuss about it.

 

The timing of the lightning was impeciable .
