no, what i really mean is like, many of our parents arent from the same backrground [ im speaking mainly of us in the "new world"] so like my parents for exaplme wouldnt have gotten together...for some of us, there would have been people similar to us possibly, but the world would be completly different if christianity had not strched as far as it did through Constatine

    Very true.
Your previous statement threw me for a loop.
    Thanks for clarifying.

I think Christianity contributed to the demise of the Roman Empire.

Roman philosophies, such as, Stocism and Epicureanism are infintely better than Christianity.

but, I admire Jesus too, and I think Christianity should have been accepted, but without the dismissal of everything else as pagan and worthless.

well in Christains defense, the dismissal of paganism started with Judeaism, as well as the Zoroastian faith...the two oldest monotheistic religions, well there eas that Pharoh who oulawed all other Gods cept for one, but yeah...

well, I mean a lot of good philosophy was dismissed by the Christian, simply because, "it was unchristian"

I say Constantine simply because since he was all scared and indecisive, Theodora had the real power and was running the show. Theodora kicks ass.

If I am not mistaken, Theodora was Justinian's wife, not Constantine's.

Of course you're right. I knew that. I swear I knew that. I really really did I'm just being quite dumb right now.

BAH. Of course she was Justinian's wife. The byzantine mosaics of them in that one cathedral... her on one side him on the other... I feel foolish. Twice in one night, sheesh.
