looking back hurts me but sometimes you need to look back to realize where you are now.

 

No, I wouldn't do it all over again, and I probably wouldn't do anything over again. Even if I did it over again, I would probably make the same exact choices. But then again, I believe in fate, so I dont' believe that I make free choices. So where I am now, is the only place I could possibly be.

and that's part of the reason i love what has happened to me (even though some people would think im nuts for saying that)... it's brought me to where i need to be.

YES, there are a few things that I would like to do over and be able to do differently, but then I probably wouldn't be where I am mentally. Seeing we can't turn back time whats the point wishing for that?

 

As long as we stay true to the hippy way of life, we will always shine through our tribulations, no matter how hard it may seem.

 

i believe this universe is too diverse and our time on this earth too short to every want to do everything the same way more then once. i would not want to go back and redo anything i've already done because i was looking forward to its consiquences the first time all the way through and the only things i would have liked to have been able to do differently were simply choices that were not available to me at the time. that doesn't mean everything has come out the way i wanted or hoped for it to, only that i don't believe i could have done any better then i did with what was available to me at the time.

now the next time i'm born into a tangable material world as an infant on some world somewhere, in all this great vast universe, not even counting it's next door neighbors, it is almost infinitely unlikely for it to be this one. rather that life will have its own opportunities and challanges, unique to it, just as those of this one are and were to this one.

really i know of nothing i could have done differnt that i would have wanted to do different then what i have. and the last thing in hell i would want is a time loop of having to go back and do it over and over again. that would be and is my worst nightmare. that or ending up is some right-wing death camp.

 

life is a one way road trip go till you die then you start a new road trip from there

presumably revist every decision point in your life in sequence and the process by which you arrived at it. they only thing worse then chronic hysterises, to me, other then a fascist deathcamp, would be knowing you were caught up in it. i don't believe anyone who thinks they want that have really visualized anything remotely like it in their minds to immagine that they would. people just think oh this or that would be better if they'd taken this or that other road. well maybe it might have but just as maybe it might not have too!
