i've been having this same dream for the about the past 5 months. i'll be in a big city with my family and we all decide to go our seperate ways. as im walking on a free way the cars suddenly dissapear. then a huge tidal wave comes roaring towards me. it's so sceary but i always wake up before it hits. any idea what it means?
It means that you are not ready to be separated from your family and that the idea scares you. It could be related to subconscious adolescent anxieties over the inevitable separation which occurs as you grow older. It's not necessarily a physical separation, but also an emotional one.
Hi show_girl maybe it helps to let go and look on the dream without putting a question in between and just be aware, and this way find what you know is true deeper inside yourself. And it is much like you walk and stand in wonder again to see the tidal wave reaching out to you and it is almost like you have called for it, to be changed for ever. Sometimes all we are asked for is to change the perspective. Sometimes this means to not trust into fear so much but into the beauty and wonder of being and of life that reaches out to you as you call for it, to be touched and changed and taken on to the unknown shores of who you are, knowing it is all yours.
