What was your first job?

2 questions....

1) What's the first official job you had? I mean official as in you had to pay taxes for it.
2) Did you like it or not? And why?

 

My first job was serving coffee at a donut shop. It was ok, but some of the employees and customers sucked at life big time.

 

McDonalds. I hated it. It payed shitty and the work sucked. I don't support them and wouldn't work for them again even if they paid $20 an hour.

 

My first job was at JC Penneys. I liked it a lot until I got stuck working on the 2nd floor. It was so slow (except around christmas) b/c no one knew there was a 2nd floor.

What do you mean sucked at life? Do you mean they didn't talk to you or just was boring?

 

A renaissance festival. I sold shit to drunk people.

 

i'm packing grass seed right now, it's alright, it beats sitting in front of the computer all the time

 

mine was picking apples...closely followed by relief cleaning which was only bad when you had to relieve the toilet run...urkle...ten floors of nothing but toilets...no wonder the regulars got ill!!

 

working in a greenhouse during spring break (except there was snow on the ground of course)... it was awful. We were on a line, transplanting plants... the floor was concrete and was extremely painful to stand on for more than a couple hours, the pay was shit and they tried to keep me on after spring break but they'd call my house at 2pm to get me in at work at 4pm... except I didn't get home until 6 (which I told them) because we lived out on an acreage near the greenhouse and my mom drove us home after work

*growls* My second job was much better - cookie store, worked there for two years. hurrah!

 

The people who were the managers were totally screwing the employees and cheated them out of everything...they wouldnt tell you were were fired, they would make you think you still worked there but never give you hours..
They make you harrass people for charge apps, and if you dont get people to get any, you are in trouble and they put you on the shitty shift...
they were beyond racists and just a bad bad company...

 

My first official Job was working at a Pizza place... It wasnt to bad.. I miss it some days

 

McDonald's. It blew asschuncks out the ass.

 

so does their food...

 

when i was 14 i was working for the county "beautifying" the town. i dug more holes than the mafia that summer all for 4.25/hour
