Don't pick at it or do anything besides wash his face GENTLY. They will go away soon. It's perfectly normal.

I would suggest not using a wipe to clean his face. My kids all have sensitive skin, and although the wipes don't harm their little bums when I use them, if I use one on their face, it causes their skin to become pretty irritated. Really red and rashy.

I rarely use soap on any of my kids' faces. I use a very mild baby wash for the rest of their bodies, but I don't use it on their faces, I use simple water there.

Also, try pat-drying his face after you wash it. That way it won't irritate it even more. You might already be doing that though. ;)

    Good luck.

I couldn't use baby wipes on my babies skin either. Either plain tepid water, or tepid water with a mild baby soap is the best thing to wash your baby's face.

Baby acne is hormonal. Washing won't accelerate it's going away. There is nothing you can do to make it go away. Don't worry, it doesn't last more than a month or so.

I always thought Xander's baby acne looked like a map of the stars to remind me he came from some wonderous place before he was mine.
