ANYONE WHO CAN GET TO EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND, UK THERE WILL BE A PLANNED RALLEY 2ND JULY THIS YEAR AS LEADERS OF THE RICHEST COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD GATHER IN SCOTLAND FOR THE G8 SUMMIT.

I will be there, as will 100's of 1000's of others all demanding the same from our government and world leaders,......

.....TRADE JUSTICE, DEBT CANCELLATION AND MORE AND BETTER AID FOR THE WORLDS POOREST COUNTRIES.

If you CAN get to Scotland,*
BE THERE. MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD.

(*Even if you have to under go a long journey as I will be having to, please do make the effort if it is indeed possible for you to get there. Thank you for your attention)

    Isn't It Ironic
As a member of one of the richest countries on the world, I find it impossible to make the trek to Edinburgh. It really sounds like a worthwhile cause. I wish I could participate.
I truly believe the solution to our world's problems is to cancel out the monetary aggregates that strain the relations between countries today.
Wouldn't it be great if we could travel between countries as we travel between web servers? No cost, instantaneous, and interactively?
What if we could set up something like that? We could all be there, virtually, voicing our opinions and hearing the rebuttals?
I know it could be done. I only wish I had the time to do it. Being a member of one of the richest countries in the world, I have to work my ass off to keep my family and myself under a roof. 2 websites and a full-time job take everything I have. But there might be someone (or a group of people ) out there who could fund and/or moderate a program of this nature. Think about it, with the technology we have at our disposal one person could literally articulate world peace, if that person had the appropriation and aspiration to do so.

I've only just now noticed your reply to my thread, For a long while I kept checking but no one was leaving any posts so I stopped checking. But I did, actually quite by accident, come back on to this thread and of course notice your post!

Yes!! You are absolutely right, I am sure it can be done, but where would you start to get something like that up and running?? Damn good idea though!!!

Thanks for your reply and your intellegent input!! :)

Actually I'm not that intelligent. Just know how to copy & paste from the online dictionary ;) But I have been thinking about this thread all week.
I am just getting into making a web presence myself, so I really can't give much advice on how or where, the purpose of my post was to entice someone who does have cyber intuition to throw in a tip or two, maybe even volunteer.

OK, come back here, we're not asking for blood, just a hand in uniting the world. If only Miss America had a web page :)

I'm just a little befuddled (yes I went to the thesarus) right now about the state of the world. I can talk to techs in England about the same TV sets I'm working on, even though theirs run on 220 and ours on 110. And we can still figure out what the 3rd world engineers were thinking when they designed them, without both of us busting into their country and saying "Make it like we taught you to". I just don't see why we can't do the same things in other aspects.
