I haven't heard that one, but Donovan's "Sunshine Superman" and "Mellow Yellow" are great!!!! Make sure you get those if you don't have them.

Early Led zeppelin, John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page, and John Bonham.

I think eric clapton played on one version of Hurdy Gurdy and Jimmy page played on another... one is album one was single.... I *think*

besides... he has way better songs... you should give his greatest hits album a spin

^^^ yeah i have that one! and in the CD jewel case for that
album, Donovan has written a lil blurb about the song, he says,

"Written in India, about the loss of the worlds wisdom and The Call to Awakening. My Chord like a mantra, and in my head I heard power guitar riffs and wild drums, like Keith Moon of The Who. Ecstatic trance vibes. When I played this song to my producer, Mickie Most, I said, "This is for Jimi Hendrix(!)"(who I had met first week he arrived in London), "No" said Mickie, "It's your next single." I said, "Lets get Jimi to play guitar." Jimi was gigging and couldn't, so Jimmy Page came with John Bonham, and John Paul Jones arranged the track. Three future members of Led Zeppelin. This acoustic chant with classic-rock power opened the Celtic-rock to come. And the lyric announced that meditation had arrived in the pop culture."

I thought this was a really cool story to share with the people that didnt know, but how cool is it that Donovan has the privilage of picking between Jimi Hendrix or Jimmy Page.
