What have they been up too. I havent followed em in so long. I love em though. I need to try and catch some more shows!
i havnt heard to much of them lately either. their soo damn good, next time their in town im definately gonna be catchin one of their shows. i know chino is currently in another band called teamsleep, their pretty good to, however they have a somewhat different sound than deftones but i really recomend that you check them out.
I've only seen them once in 2000 and at that show the crowd was getting so crazy that they kept stopping in the middle of songs and telling everyone to chill out. They even began playing Weezer songs to try to chill people out....... some girl was getting crushed I guess. Then a couple of years later I was talking to one of my friends (i met her shortly after the show) and we were talking about the deftones and I said "yeah the one time I saw them some fucking girl was getting trampled on and so they kept stopping the show." she said "that was ME!" hehe.
