Do marijuana seeds ever go bad? Or can I keep them as long as I like and plant them whenever I feel like it?

no.... usually if you sprout the seed yourself(cant think what the name of the process is) that takes about 2-3days.... then when you put it into the soil you should see it break ground in about 5 days or so.....

    its called germination

  7. From research it seems that seeds will last for many, many years if stored properly. This means keeping the beans under 5% relative humidity, and at a cool temperature, in a dark place. Many experts prefer to freeze their seeds, but if thawed must be grown immediately. This is because when they thaw, the beans crack and air and moisture then reaches the interior, causing them to sprout.

If kept at room temperature, and in a humid place, they are susceptible to many kinds of rot and fungus, which will destroy them.

Normally it takes one to three days for a viable seed to sprout under optimum conditions. Seeds sprout best at 75 degrees fahrenheit, and in moist soil, in a dark place. Bright light will hinder their germination.

A long time if kept dry.

The germination rate drops with age, however.
