just me in San Diego... hey all ... anyone here in s. cal? Been here for about 4 yrs... got married, and living well. My husband and I have been best friends for the last 9 years, but we are kinda an island onto ourselves. I work outta the home doing computer animation, graphics ..ect.. and he builds custom homes. So basically it's me and my hubby against the world.lol. We both moved 2000 miles away from friends and family to live in paradise here in San Diego. I was brought up in New Orleans, lived in MI for about 10yrs (10yrs too long)... where I met Greg. Couldnt take the weather... after about 8 surgeries I turned into a walking barometer.. no fun at all. So he and I moved out here, where at least i get some relief from everyday pain. Personally I think snow is a waste of water got no use for it! I love to get out when I can in Oceanside and San Marcos... but I pretty much do this alone when I can. My husband is more of a hard rock guy and couldnt care less about mix and trance. But, Im a trooper, and he doesnt mind me going out to enjoy the tunes once in a while. Was wondering if anyone's around that might give suggestions on where to go and what to do out here. I think I might become part of this damn computer if I dont get out once in a while. :sunglasse Just trie'n to get to know the area and the people better. A little socialization is always a good thing. And since we dont get out to socialize... gotta start somewhere. Kim
Welcome to HipForums! There are Rainbow potlucks in Balboa Park. The music scene is pretty happening from what we hear & there are regular drum circles too. San Diago has a lot going on hippie-wise, lots of kind folks.
