    I could set up a series of stickies for regions:
    NW US: Ore, Wash, Idaho
    Southwest: Cali/Nevada/Ariz
    Rocky Mountains: Colo, Wyo, Montana, N Mex, Utah
    Great Plains: Tex, Okla, Kansas, Nebraska, N and S Dakota
    Midwest: Wisc, Mich, Minn, Iowa, Ohio, Ill, Ind, Missouri, Kentucky
    South: Ark, Louisiana, Miss, Ala, Tenn, GA, Fla, VA, W. VA, N and S Carolina
    New england/Maritime: every other state: Maryland, Delaware, PEnn, NJ, NY, Conn, RI, Vermont, NH, MAss, Maine
    Alaska/Hawaii- self-explanitory
    Canada
    Europe
    Australia/Asia/Africa
    Mexico,Central, and South America

    Would you use it in posting?

    Another option is simply to start a post with the state/region.

    I plan on keeping the "biggies" as their own threads.

    in a typical case of apathy, the "I don't cares" have it.
    So PLEASE put your town/state (unless obvious, like Chicago or Dallas) in the header like thus:
    Best Band Ever: San Fran- Seattle tour
