Rope Sandals (want 'em?)

So i ordered 'Gurkees Neptunes' from a catalog and i was sent the wrong size. If anyone wants a woman's size 9 (not sure what that would be in mens) contact me. Or, if anyone has/ sells 'em and has a woman's 10 or mens 9 that theyd want to trade let me know.

They are woman's size nine neutral Gurkees (neptune style)







The sandals have never been worn other than me putting them on, standing up, and realizing theyre a tad too small.

Are they really that comfortable??? I mean, there's no instance of rope, digging into your skin???

 

Actually they are Freakin FANTASTIC! I own a pair of GURKEES Barbados style... You can check them out and read the history at Gurkees.com or similar to that address.. Cant remember the exact website but the brand is Gurkees... They are handmade from Polypropeline rope which feels like carpet.. I have had no discomfort with them and the best part is they just get better with age! They Float and they are maching washable...

Story is something like this.. These are originally handmade by some hippies at a commune in Missouri.. Someone bought some from some hippies in a school bus and fell in love with em..They owned theirs for 7 years and up to 10 years before they wear out.. Check out that website and you will understand.. They go for approx 25 dollars + shipping.. Got mine from ebay for less.. Good luck and you won't regret that purchase!
