My prom dress makes its debut!

I posted a picture of the prom dress I sewed in its unfinished stages about a month ago in one of the threads in here, so I figured I would post a picture of me in it at prom. My home ec. teacher helped me immensely with it and she deserves full credit for the hemming and the alterations made to it. I had one of the most unique dresses at the prom and I felt like an elven princess!

What a beautiful dress! I didn't get to see the started project, but the final result is breathtaking. I bet you and your dress made one hell of an entrance at the prom.

 

Thanks for all the comments! I was so proud of it and so many people asked me where I got it and I got the reward of announcing that I made it. There are more pictures from prom on my gallery, ones where you can actually see my face. I just wish I had a good sewing machine so that I could start making more clothes. That dress was the coolest thing I've ever done.
