And all they played was shit music... like Techno and Rap.. it sucked? what ever happend to the good music from the 60's and 70's... like it Kicks any other music in the ass..Like todays music doesn't seem to have any feeling... and it just basically sucks..so the dance was shitty cuz the music was shitty! piss me off.. but meh i went and got baked and turned on my good tunes after.. i got the good taste!

Dances always play sucky music. Why would they play 60s and 70s music? You can't dance to it, except for the occassional disco tune.

Yea, and that's the fucking problem. People will be like "I can't dance to this" and it'll be some groovy ass Hendrix song. But then Puff Daddy will sample the song and it'll be the hit of the new millenium.
i can groove to alot of stuff, but yea at a high school dance all you are gunna hear is rap/techno/whatever... last year when my school voted for the winter dance's official slow song it was bettween "Baby i love your way" by frampton, some Tim McGraw song, and some other crap song...but all i can remember is people complaining about not bein able to dance to frampton
Last time I went to a dance, I almost called my parents to come get me and take me home. I hated it. You couldn't dance to the music or anything! And all there was was dirty dancing stuff. Thank God I dance like a hippie. That's also why I wanna learn dances like the Watusi and the Monkey and stuff. Those dances are REALLY fun and aren't dirty....

well i think being a part of a hippie is also respectin other music and not shit talking it. i mean i wish they played 50's and 60s stuff at dances...but wut do u expect? im sure high skools in the 60s didnt play shit from the '40s and crap. so of course TODAY's high skools are going to play TODAYS muisc. and i dont really like rap either, but hell u can still dance 2 it. and *YOU* HAVE to LEARN the monkey? everyone knows how to do that!! and besides, i can dance to ALL kinds of music :H
