I would like to meet lady salvia.. I want to do it by a quid or something.. Can i use just dry leaves? and how much will i need to get a level 4? Im a first-timer..
You can use dried leaves, but that might taste kind of nasty. Try to get fresh leaves instead; either way, it will be a little bitter. I've never tried a quid myself, but I've heard that 10 to 15 leaves rolled into a quid is the best; maybe you should try 10 or something.
Someone said to me I can buy an extract best, but can i use that orally? and how much and how strong should i take? I really have no idea.. its the first drug ever im gonna take..
Whoa, this is the first drug you're ever going to take? DON'T. Consider the fact that there is a sizable number of people who believe that Salvia divinorum is one of the strongest psychoactives known, even stronger than DMT and LSD. While that can't be proven by any physical science (even though the dosage is in the micrograms and is close to LSD's dosage levels), it's definately the strongest psychoactive I've ever tried; it's overwhelming. I didn't consider myself ready when I tried it for the first time, and when I did, I was already into other psychoactives. You could be in for a bumpy ride (with emphasis on bumpy). That's all I'm saying. Try weed first, at the VERY, VERY least. Extracts aren't really made for quids. They usually come in very small leaf bits, or in a powder form. Plain leaves are the best option for quids, and you may be wasting a lot of extract if you use it. One quid is worth something like 10 smoked experiences, I believe. Seriously though, try something else first. Else you'll probably be reprimanded by the being you seek, like I was.
I didn't say that. =P I'm just recommending against Salvia unless you have experience with other psychoactives. The quid method is the most gentle of all the methods, but I'm sure it can still be hella powerful.
Ok, I'll start with some weed etc first. I wanted to try Salvia as first psychadelic drug, because the trip isnt that long.. So, if I get in a panic state, which I have frequently, I dont lay down there for 8 hours..
Celine: Good to hear. When you do go to try Salvia (I think it's good to try it eventually, just not first, heh), just try to remember this: If you take enough for a powerful experience (look on Erowid for quid doses and such, or try sagewisdom.org), just try to stay calm. Salvia is different than weed, shrooms, etc. in the sense that it quickly and completely overwhelms the senses (when you take enough, I mean). That usually freaks most people out, especially their first time trying it (I know I was scared out of my mind!), so just try to remember to stay calm, and let the Sheperdess have her way with you, just go with the flow and don't worry about it. And don't be an idiot like me; if you try weed first, don't expect Salvia to be ANYTHING like it! =P Also, use a sitter. :sunglasse
Ok, I will. I think I meditate before I'll try it, and ofcourse with a sitter. Thanks for your help, I appreciate that very much.
not sure if you want to take a walk through my latest compilation of everything salvia but here is a link anyway. http://tinyurl.com/bxnkq enjoy! you are the lady or she is what you are oriented to and waits on the other side of that orientation
I just gave it a try last night, and wow was it potent. It hit me in a way I didn't expect at all, and basically left me with my mouth hanging open not really knowing what was going on with this kind of throbbing going through my head, and I went through a massive LSD and mushroom phase when I was a bit younger, but this hit from below if that makes any sense. Kind of made everythhing tropical in a way, and serpentlike....it was intense. I was having all of these visual hallucinations and then finally I saw a table and though to myself "thats a table, I know this world" and kind of grabbed onto it until the initial freak out rush wore off enough for me to feel what was real and what wasn't...then an afterglow did set in. I'm telling you though, after my first hit I was thinking "Oh god what have I done to myself," probably is a good idea to start with something else, which is ironic because this is legal and other things aren't. afterwards I wanted to try again, and did
"What have I done to myself?" That sounds very familiar. I said the same thing after my first experience. A couple nights ago I finally tried salvia agin, but very small dose on top of weed in the bowl. It was a very soothing high. I didn't realize how scared I was of the stuff until I stood there at the water pipe trying to convince myself to take a hit. If you would like to read about my first experience, IM me and I will be happy to share. It was quite overwhelming.
