Hi. When playing my guitar recently, I landed upon a tune which I thought was one of my best yet. A while later, I realised that it sounded familiar. Here it is: http://83.70.174.215/2.m3u So, do you any of you recognize it? It's the first two bars of the melody that sound familiar in particular - the part sung to the lyrics "The sun's light has faded". My brother agrees, but can figure out what it is either. The melodic contour is similar to an old Live song - All over you ("Our love is like water"), as well as Evanescence's more recent "My Immortal"; but these are just similar, they're not actually identical. I have a feeling there is a song to which the beginning of that melody is actually identical - does anyone know what it is? Or am I just being paranoid, and have I actually stumbled on something original? P.S. The recording is poor quality - completely done in a rush; merely for the purpose of this thread!
