moe. is opening for the Allman Bros. Band this summer!

Mostly east coast dates, and I'm so excited! I'll be able to go to like, 5!

Hope to see some of you there!

Allman Brothers announced a date at Verizon Wireless in Virginia Beach, should be in July. I'm looking forward to it.

Been a year or two since I've seen the Allmans so it should be nice to catch one or two. The higher ticket price is worth it for both bands, but there's so much to do this summer I'd have to work the lots like mad to try and maintain a healthy standard of living!

Beers, party favors, kickdowns, heck it's going to be a full summer for sure!

haha, I totally agree with you there! moe. is one of the best jambands to see live right now.

maybe they aren't the most musically talented, playing things no one has even heard before, but the live shows are just awesome. I have seen them so many times I really have a connection with thier music. There's always a good time at a moe. show ;)

Plus, the allmans' are classic! I got to see them last year in ohio and it was a good show.

I dont think anyone jams out like MOe. anymore. They are the best singers, but they make up for it in the energy of the jam sessions!

No one jams as good as moe? please dude, sure they groove and whatnot but they aren't like super-spectacular.

Yeah, but they keep it intimate... bands like phish were really overblown, although I liked them a lot. They're unique at a different spectrum of the whole jam band universe.

headymoechick--You know, they might announce dates in the middle, between some of those allmans shows.

I am doing all of them, except IL, and minnesota

The reason Phish was "overblown" was because they were really talented and played for a long time. I don't think the reason moe. isn't filling arenas is because they are keeping it intimate.

phish was overblown because it became a way of life to many, and it was not just following a band around, but it was their occupation

not that I don't respect your opinion's guys, but I don't want this thread turned into moe. vs. phish. that could get nasry.

I know moe. isn't the most talented. But they are the greatest music to MY ears and I can't fucking wait to see them!!!
