The ugliness that is Mobile, AL.

Mobile is and ugly place, here's proof. Hehe anyway, I was downtownish today and took some various pics.

 

Looks kinda flat - like TX or Kansas? Is it hot and humid?

 

Where are all the people? It's a ghost town, isn't it?!

You could always spend some time up here in the clean, crisp, cool (not flat!) Seattle area this summer when Holly comes. And Johanna, too. Now, wouldn't that be fun when the south is all heating up and steamy?

 

That sure would be nice, summer here is hell, usually upper 90s into the 100s, with 100% humidity everyday. Break a sweat just walking out the door.

 

I know! Used to live in TX. I didn't even know about humidity until I moved to Phoenix - Oh, it's a DRY heat! LOL - that doesn't matter much when it's 114 outside! But, really I sympathize, humidity sucks balls.

 

Haha I grew up in TX... Humidity makes a huge difference..

 

I don't think Mobile is ugly at all, I've been there many many times & I really liked it! Plus, it's only about 45 minutes from Gulf Shores! I would live there...

It's a hell of a lot better than where I live...

 

I can't stand the place, but I grew up and spent most of my life around Houston.. Guess Mobile just sucks in comparison.. At least it's near Gulf Shores like you said, and it could be much worse.. Did you hear the sherrif went to jail? Speaking of that I just realized I forgot one picture..
