Hi.. I am new here so I thought this was a good thread to start in. A friend told me about this site (SO I guess she's here somewhere) and I decided to check it out. I must say with all the different forums to discuss it's a little overwhelming to start off. Ok a little about me... I am a 25 yr old woman from Western NY (upstate). I believe in living a vibrant full life which I am attempting to do. I have 2 wonderful little bunnies (of whom I love SOOO much). I consider myself sort of a rabbit enthuesist. I am an artist, currently exploring the facets of the Altered Art medium. But I also use acrylics, chalk and oil pastels, clay, pen/ink, pencils, etc. I am also a poet, having written notebooks upon notebooks worth. I do share my poetry publiclly and readngs and have featured a couple of times. I even used to be in a spoken words blues band. Speaking of band I love to sing and hope to sing in a band someday. I collect windchimes and houseplants. I love to bury my nose in books. However I am a very social person. The great outdoors is a place to call home for me. An afternoon in the park, a country drive, camping in the middle of "no where" (so to speak), laying out on my balcony..all favorite activites of mine. I love music but haven't been to any concerts in a while (money is a big factor int hat) I don't use drugs and am probably not the person you want to debate on that with if you do. My politics lean "bleeding heart" (liberal). Not a fan of Pres. Bush, the war, gas prices, the attack on Gay rights, etc. Pro-choice, pro-equality (although I don't plan on burning my bra anytime soon LOL), freedom of religion, and I am pretty much anti-death penalty (although that one I sometimes find tricky). My religion as organised is UU (Unitarian Universalist) and would love to meet and talk to UU's from all over the world. My personal beliefs are spiritual. I don't smoke cigarettes, quit 6 yrs ago. WOOHOO (I love breathing) Fav band is Tea Party (although I love several and several different genres to boot) Fav food is sushi. I am not vegan or vegitarian... It's cool if you are. I am omnivore as nature intended..although I don't like the treatment of livestock. ANd I don't actually like thinking about the mastication of meat...because I love animals so much I am a very silly often serious individual. Hoping to attend college in the fall to be a Nurse UM...no kids, do have a tatoo, and .... um... well I guess that's it.. LOL wow I guess I shared quite a bit about myself for just getting started. Anyhow..Sometimes I like to jump in head first and get the ball rolling! I am glad to be here..hope you're glad ot have me! -Blue
Hey Blue F7, Welcome..you seem to have nice ideas about life.. I'm from Belgium(Europe)don't smoke..dont use drugs anymore.. but..I do like a good booze from time to time.. beer,hard stuff as well..but I never exaggerate.. Music is my passion..and driving my motorbike..travelling.. and..discussing about life...that's all... Big hello from Europe..it's spring here...waaaaw... old tiger
