George Carlin, oh my god. i was listening to him today in class while everyone else was reading silently and i started laughing really hard, then just laughed harder when i realized how insane it problably seemed.
he's just really funny, and his harsh commentary on practically anything is just hilarous. i guess he's just one of those people who could say 'fork' and it'd be hilarioius.
    anyone else love him?

"so remember, get high on sports, not drugs... unless there's no sports in your area. then fuck it, go ahead and get high on drugs." - george, haha.

George Carlin definently is the best
"and I distinguish between maniacs and crazy people. A maniac will beat 9 people to death with a steel dildo, a crazy person will beat nine people to death with a steel dildo but he'll be wearing a bugs bunny suit at the time"

There is nobody better than Carlin. I put Richard Pryor a close second followed by Denis Leary and Steven Wright.

I like George Carlin and Richard Pryor....but Bill Cosby had some funny stand-up sets, too!

Alot of them had some good show's like Eddie Murphy's "Raw" or Richard Pryor right after his crack accident. But Goerge Carlin has staying power! HELP! What was the album (yes album) back in the 70's that had him holding a flower pot with a pot plant and a frown on the front cover and on the back the plant was bare and he had this grin on his face???????????? "Boy, your lower than a snakes belly in a wagon wheel rut"!

I saw Bill Hick's stand up. Laughed my ass off! I saw Dennis Leary at Carolines in Chicago and he was really funny but seemed to go on and on with some subjects. I liked his DVD better. I also saw Steve Martin in concert before he was a big movie star and that was one of the funniest shows ever. And Dennis Miller in Vegas ($120 a ticket) It was not as good as I thought it would be.
No one has mentioned Galliger...hmmm...wonder why?

    Oh yeah, and Jon Stewart.

I may have a mild crush on Jon Stewart. Very mild. Teeny weeny tiny. Even though he's taken and 24 years older than me. Age doesn't matter, but the taken part may be a problem.
