    No i haven't.

Why the fuck can't Hollywood be a little more original? What is up with all the remakes of classic horror films?

The Exorcist Was The Shit, It Still Scares The Crap Outta Me And Blair Witch "2" Was Surprisingly Freaky, Shocking, Considering The First One Sucked And It Gave Me A Headache!

    I saw it.

It was scary. I liked it better then the original movie. The scares were actually scary and none of those cheesy cat-jumping-from-the-closet faux scares.

First off Ryan Reynolds and Melissa George are closer(if not exact)to the actual ages of George and Kethy Lutz during the incident.Which is nice.Margot Kidder and James Brolin were just old looking to me.

Secondly, the orginal movie dwelled way to much on the everyday things like that infernal lion statuette moving across the room. It was boring and not really scary considering it could have been one of the kids moving the damn thing. They also omitted the dumb marching band incidents.Always a plus in my book. I'm glad that Jody wasn't a pig.I never thought the pig-thing was scary. Most ghost-experts agree that human ghosts would almost never haunt as an animal.

They really touched on the pychological things too. George was normal away from the house but became mean and agressive when he entered the property..so in town, he was his normal sweet self but as soon as he came home,he became more like Ron Defeo. It made the actual connection between the house and George's descent into madness. there was the pychological fear that parents have. Kathy's dispair as she tries to hold her family together and her kids being thrown into cruel and dangerous positions that Kathy couldn't seem to predict or control.

As a remake,I thought it was well-done. Better then most remakes.

i personally wouldnt even waste my time watching it...the book is scary
It looks way to stupid and that they tried way to hard..thats the problem with horror movies today, they are a knock off or a rip off of something else..and then they all try way to hard
