Does anyone know whos the original singer for the song " Blue Moon"?

I think it was Tony Bennett.

 

Lorenz Hart and Richard Rodgers wrote the first version apparently, and it was recorded way back in 1930.. it seemed to be a really popular song.

I do know that Elvis recorded this tune at Sun Studios in memphis, along with some other great traditional bluesers, at the very start of his career.

 

Yeah, it was a cover of the one written by Hart/Rodgers.
