Bush's Erratic Behavior Worries White House Aides

has anyone ever noticed how quickly all the presidents age once they enter office? even if you suck at your job, it's still gonna take it's toll on you. so throw the "pres is literally smoking crack" theory out the window. as to him not being a texas native and having a texas accent, he has lived there for the majority of his life. kind of a silly sidepoint. carry on.

 

I don't doubt that some of this could be true, but things are easily skewed and interpreted by writers to fit an article. That's all about that.

Question to all -- what do you think it's like to be the leader of the most powerful nation on the planet, and have practically the ENTIRE WORLD watching your every move and waiting for every word to come from your mouth, and have a good percentege of YOUR OWN country vehemently against your thoughts and actions?

Wow -- a little stressful, wouldn't you think?

I'm definitely NOT a Bush supporter, but just provoking some thought.

For that matter, why would anyone on a hippie site want to be defending Bush? That would be like hippies in the 60's defending Nixon.

 

Becuase its about free thought, not an alliance movement. I'm sorry but having a bitch of a job is no excuse. Those before him managed to do it so why couldnt he? Their were presidents who lasted more than 2 terms and did just fine.

I didn't say that they didn't have a right to free thought and speech. I'm just questioning the rationale for so passionately defending someone like Bush on a hippie site.

 

if you passionately defend bush on a conservative site, no one is going to bring up contrary points to discuss and it's boring. you descend into the erroneous assumption that everyone agrees with you, too.

 

I'm a fairly radical anarchist. And I have a great big "George Bush" poster hanging above my bed, filled with quotations from him. Political opponents all over the spectrum have such things, from email-forwards to day-by-day calendars (my Dad's got one) to out and out BOOKS of "bushisms".

If this doesn't signal a problem, I don't know what does.

The man claims to be on a "mission from god", leading the so-called "religious right", yet his war has been condemned by nearly every major religious leader on the planet, culminating in his recent face-to-face berating FROM THE FUCKING POPE.

Virtually the entire rest of the planet regards the man on a spectrum between "idiot", "fascist" and "madman", his unilateral actions on "terrorism", Kyoto and other issues have alienated your country even more than it already was.

My favourite tee-shirt is from the band Against Me!, has a picture of ole' W and sports the slogan "Hey George W, fuck you and your daddy". You'd think I'd get in SOME SORT of trouble wearing it around, but I've recieved far more compliments than anything else.

To put a man such as this at the controls of an ARSENAL OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS illustrates the kind of judgement frequently exercised by drug addicts, masochists and bike couriers. Do the whole fucking planet a favour and get rid of him as soon as possible.

 

Anyone willing to turn a blind eye to repeatedly exposed lies and demonstrable fiscal mismanagement along with rampant crony capitalism wont stop to consider the facts whether presented on a hippie site or a conservative site, they simply wont admit that theyve been betrayed by their ideological heros (or that their preferred ideology is mired in antiquated notions of empire), so why they even bother joining a debate is anyone's guess.

Hey Rockman, what part of the country you from? Whered you get your poster lol. I'd enjoy talking of the differnt possibilties of Anarchy with you sometime, but back to the point you brought up.
This country has always been about the seperation of church and state (to some degree) and when Kennedy was elected people feared the Catholic church would rule the state. He assured them that this would not be the case. Kennedy took responsibility for the actions at The Bay of Pigs, because ultimatly he had said to go through with it. Bush on the other hand has looked to blame anyone from CIA Directors to the Secretary of Defence (whos doing a superb job ) and has not YET stepped forward and admited that he has been wrong one time. WMDs? "I'm trying to answer a question sir! Please!... whos next" pft. His inabillity to answer the press about questions is damn alarming. Bush is also a "Christian" (What would Jesus do? Mass Genocide ) and the fact that his visit to the pope has altered his behavior should speak VOLUMES. He's taking his cues from the Almighy but I wonder if God's speaking to him on the phone in the oval office or from a portrait of his dad in the West Wing.

 

I'm from Hamilton Ontario, the home of smog, crack cocaine and the mafia capital of Ontario (if not all of canada...). It's shit, but it's home.

 

You have intimate knowlege of when and how much coke Dubya used? How did you get THAT data, considering Dubya won't talk about it?

I am SURE the man used coke,(probably a shitload of it) but to be SURE he only used "A small to moderate amount" is some pretty intimate knowlege. Do you know the dude? Man, if I could count the total coke freaks who insist they only use a "small to moderate amount." A couple O kilos a month, anyone?

Bush was supposed to visit the tomb of the unknown soldier in Piazza Venezia. There were so many protestors that he had to go elsewhere. The police force was 10,000 and it estimated the number of protestors in the hundreds of thousands across Italy. Funny how no one covered this on the American corporate news networks.

And BTW, great job Jeb Bush in going to Spain and telling them to buy more goods from Florida and then referring to their government as a Republic when they are a monarchy. You're as competent as your brother, dumbass.

PS: I also have a GW Bush poster. I keep it right next to my box of darts.
