Do you ever notice the way that human beings seem to twist everything around in quite an unnatural way? Sex, for example. Although from a personal Buddhist perspective any form of physical desire ultimately becomes an obsticle to Enlightenment, it cannot be denied that sex is a very natural and pleasurable human activity. And yet many people still get rediculously embarassed about it, and regard it as something disgusting and undesirable, a taboo subject for casual conversation. Then you get things such as completely unjustified wars that are glorified and said to be wonderful efforts at helping people, soldiers who kill thousands heartlessly and then get called heroic and given a medal for it. Doesn't this world really seem a little back to front?
Anything that people at the top can control for their gain, they will. Sexual liberation isn't a good thing, I mean, sex makes people happy, and happy people don't buy stuff! Eegads!
