I thought I asked this once before, but I looked and couldn't find it.

What program do I need, to Extract then WRITE an ISO file to a CD? I've forgotten.

Thanks for the help. I found what I was looking for. It was "IsoBuster".

I think it might. I haven't tried it yet. I'm in the process of getting Linux, and it is in ISO format. Once the download is done, I'll try that program too.

But aren't you supposed to burn the ISO on a CD directly?

I'm almost positive that Winrar doesn't open or deal with ISO files in any way. If I'm wrong I'll be very surprised. I would go check, but I'm too lazy.

Oh, but I think it does. I don't have any ISO files to test right now, but I made an empty file and named it x.iso and the default program that wanted to open to it was Winrar.

DAEMON tools is the thing i use with .iso's, frequently iso's come in packets and winrar is used to unzip them all into one file.

and yeah. your burn an .iso right to the cd.

Yeah. Nero can burn the iso to the CD, and extract the data very well.
    WinRAR opens them as well.

  12. Winrar does open ISO's, I've done it, I've tried burning cd's with the wrong files because of it and it is unfortunatly associated with it
