When your baby is born do you have to name he/she right then? Do you get the birth certificate then or in the mail?
they give you a proof of birth letter at the hospital but you have to get the birth certificate from vital records yourself usually, you name them before you leave the hospital but you can wait if you are still not sure ( baby #3 wasn't named until he was a week old)
Okay I thought I was crazy or something because my mom told me my brother was the Craig baby for a week.
I remember one couple I knew were having trouble naming their baby...so until they did she was listed as "Baby Girl (Last Name)" on her hospital records...
Names are overrated...i'll just let my kids choose their own names if they so please. And in the meantime, as long as i smile i won't permanently damage them.
