FunkyPhresh appreciation thread!!!

Hey, I just wanted to thank ya girlie for being inspiration for me(and maybe for others) I've been wanting to sew for so long, but.... excuses, excuses,excuses!!! By checking this forum everyday and seeing atleast one new sewing project from you, you with kids and husband and whatever else, has given me the kick in the butt!!!

So I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate you!!!! Thank You very much!!!

I'm gonna try and post some of my projects(maybe not one a day! he he)
I haven't sewn in such a while and since I don't use patterns I've gotta give my brain alittle time to adjust! but thanks to you, i'll be using that part of my brain again!

YES! I was interrupted just now. I had to run and pick up Stephen(DH) from the side of the road, in the snow, because he ran out of gas. I was just telling him how I've been inspired by this gal to GET SEWING! I've been workin on somethin all day, off and on. How in the heck DO you whip 'em out so fast, FunkyP?

lord i just found this thread, haha sorry you guys i didnt see it sooner. I have no idea how i get anything done LOL i sew the most when my daughter is at school cuz thats when my son and dog play together HAHA and then sometimes at night after they go to sleep.

 

I have to agree. I'm going to buy a sewing machine as soon as I fix my piece of shit of a car. I was always on the boarder line with sewing.....kinda, "meh....I can do it whenever." Now I've gotten back into designing things again. Only this time I've been inspired to actually make them come to life!

 

I agree with everyone! FunkyPhresh is the best! And one day when I have lots of money I will buy everything she offers on her web-site!!!!

Yea totally. It took me the whole day to do that one skirt i made for you (which is still awaiting me finding the iron from one of my flat mates sorry *blush*) and yet you pop out about 3 a day sometimes

 

We should all start a little webring or something for those of us who sew. and fleassy you did a great job on the skirt i cant wait to wear it. lol my online post office doesnt have international shipping yet so i gotta run down to the post office LOL
