sympathy please......

i have a wisdom tooth coming through and it has got infected.

i cant open my mouth wide enough for food, the whole side of my face hurts, i have a really bad earache, my tonsil has become inflammed which really hurts and i cant swallow, then when i do swallow i keep swallowing loads of puss, which is making me feel sick and i cant chew anything.

this has put me in a very bad mood.....

so if you could all shower me with hugs, sympathy and happy thoughts that would probably help alot!!

I can sympathise.. Been there

I used to get shotting pains down my arms too from the Nerve..

I had to have them all taken out in the dentist chair awake.. They didn't even let me goot hospital and have them out.. Gits!!

Make a mouthwash with water and a bit of salt.. it will help the infection..

Well I had a dentist's appointment yesterday... I thought they'd decide to remove my wisdom teeth... but no... instead they said I had 5 cavities... 5!!! No way... money-hungry bastards they are I'm sure... It costs about £34 per filling... Grrrhhhh... And when they did one of the fillings yesterday, they apparently drilled a hole between two of my teeth, did the filling, and it seems like it covers the gap between the two teeth, but only at the top, so I can't floss it but stuff will still get stuck between them... WTF? :$

Don't talk to me about mouth trouble! I can sympathise completely coz I've been off school/work for 2 weeks now recovering from mouth surgery. They took some teeth out, sliced open the gums, took out some of the bone, packed the hole with metal gauze and plaster, stitched and stapled it all back together and sent me packing. Have been living off soup and mash potato for the last two weeks. Couldn't eat, smile or laugh. Couldn't talk properly! Had my stitches and packing out last night...I finally have my mouth back! though it still hurts and is still healing, I'm finally free! Going to go make a veggie pie now to celebrate my ability to eat things (though they still have to be soft).


Hope you feel better soon Claire...relief from mouth pain is the best relief ever!

well i'm pleased to announce i'm still alive and feeling a little better than i was. i'm still in pain but no longer wish to cut off my head.
