dont you hate it when you barefoot out side and then step on pointy rocks it hurts!!!I gess thats why we have sandles though....
well, if you are watching where you are going, you don't tend to have that problem. And while sandals help to cut down on the hurt when stepping on jagged rocks, it also builds up sweat, they are sometimes cumbersome, and they inhibit sensation from all the other things that barefooters enjoy, such as cool grass, squishy mud, or the sand
ok even worse in my neighborhood the "neighbors" if you want to call them that, always just throw glass bottles everywhere. It sucks! But yeah your right it does suck to step on rocks.
In addition to pointy rocks...you're going to find moss covered rocks, smooth rocks, sun warmed rocks, cool stream rocks, tiny and big rocks. Who wants to miss out on those by wearing sandles. And somedays you'll find a huge variety of mud ! soft and squishy, warm and silky. As your feet toughen you'll become more comfortable walking on everything and seek out new surfaces. The variety of terain is endless and it's a pleasure to get in touch with it all. Watch where you're going and experience as much as you can. Archie
I love being barefoot (hence the name I chose) and hate shoes even sandals. It does annoy me when I'm walking and someone who see's I'm barefoot will throw stuff on the ground- especially lit cigarettes! That is not cool!
Rugged Soles pretty much summed it up. After a while those rocks become a massage with every step! And mud, dirt, grass (especially with dew on it!), leaves and even pine needles all feel good.
