Do you ever have dreams that continue?

By that, I mean do you ever have dreams that when you fall asleep every night, you continue the dream you had the night before or a couple nights before or even a while back?

 

I have a kangaroo nightmare that I've been having every once in awhile since I was 3 (Marsupials scare the shit out of me, it's complicated) it is installment after installment of 9 foot grey kangaroo\ koala (with giant fangs and claws) mayhem

 

yup, its kinda cool but rare for me. sometimes my sequal is years after the first one. Mostly its within the week.

 

i have had several dreams that continue on. mostly like a year after i had the first and some people from other dreams i have had , people that i have made up come in other new dreams.

 

yea, that happens to me a lot, but when it does its almost like a deja vu dream, its kinda weird...

 

yeah i've had that, ages ago tho when i was like 7 or so, i used to have these dreams that i was travelling around my hometown on some magic carpet visting family members and friends, and each dream i meet different people, i think i had about 3 of these, lol

 

Yep, I have that happen quite often actually.

 

I have those a lot too. My dreams usually continue if I am thinking about a dream I have had right before I go to sleep.

 

i've never had a dream continue from one night to the next, but i've had recurring dreams, only 3 different dreams. one of them has been coming for the past 15-20 years, one for about 5 years, one for the past year, approximately. the first one, the longest one, is the weirdest. i can't even do it justice so i won't try.

 

I had a continuing dream for two full years.... don't advise it

 

recurring dreams with variations are more common. occasionally i'll have 2 or 3 dreams that follow a sequence on different nights, but if i have a dream filled night then quite often they will go on throughout the night with some very strange interruptions
