Okay so I was just wondering... Let's say you go on the pill and it makes your breasts bigger- if you go off it while you're still young, will your breasts sag or just decrease in size or stay the same? I'm thinking of going on the pill for what its made for but I wanna consider the side effects aswell. Also- are the estrogen/progesterone levels harmful to the body?
sagging is more from genetics than from size, honest. Bra's have very little to do with sagging. Dont' know about whether or not they'd go down in size afterwards. Talk to your doc about it... my doc went over every little freakin detail of the pill before writing me a prescription (even though I'd read the booklet from a friend who used the same brand I was going to, gah, I knew all that already), so they should be pretty informed about the whole thing.
The pill is the worst thing to get on!!! as well as any birth control bull shit what ever it may be called. I had the worst expericene w/that shit I only took b.c for 3 weeks and I felt like shit and it gave me panic attacks heart pulptations and all this unwanted shit!! I know 3 other people who's had the same problem w/ b.c and then some other people dont have problems but I tell anyone who asks its a waste of money and time!!! and as for saggy tits lol I think its an age thing and breast size.
Amber - did you ever try a different brand? Some people react badly to anything that isn't a low-dosage. Maybe you needed a different type of bc than the pill... but it definatley sucks that you had such bad reactions! Taht's another thing... if one brand of the pill doesn't work for you, try another brand before you give up on them. Lower-dosages usually have fewer sideaffects for people. there are other forms of birth control to consider as well, like seasonale or the shot, IUD's, diaphragms, etc. Remember, none of them protect against STD's! Hurrah for condoms
No i didnt try another kind and i didnt ever plan on it!!! theres just soooo much stuff that could happen to you. Like when i was taking that b.c from before my period got messed and i didnt have one for a almost a year!!! pretty scary shit ya know man!! yeah good thang for condoms thats what me and my boy friend use and he just pulls out before he cums its probally not the best but thats ok hehe

I had the same problems with the first pill...tachycardia, breathlessness, nausea, dizziness. I talked about it with my gyno and she gave me a different pill. I've been on it for 8 months now, and never had problems, except for the first weeks...I had headache and I felt sick but this kind of troubles usually disappear as soon as your body get used to the pill.When we used coitus interruptus (I can't use condoms, they irritate me), I was always so worried...once I seriouslty thought I was pregnant! I think the pill is the best thing to get on, when you have a stable relationship. Just my opinion, tho. Nisha...I've never heard that the pill makes your breasts bigger!
Amber, how can you say the pill is the worst thing ever to get on? it might be for you, but for the majority of women it's fine. Nearly all of my friends take it and none of them have problems. I don't wanna take it forever, but i think it's fine if you take it for a few years. Just try if it works for you, Nisha - your body will react differently to mine or maybe Amber's. And it won't kill you to try it for a couple of months, then you'll see if it works for you.
Amber... Im sorry you had such a bad reaction to the pill.... But its not the worst thing... Its a wonderful thing.... With all medications there are a small percent of people who will react badly.... You just have to find the right medication... I was on the same pill for years them the clinic I get them from stopped carrying them... So they switched me.. It was a nightmare... I felt horrible and sick and had headaches... So I went back and had them write me a perscription for my old brand and now just fill them through the pharmacy (at 3 times the price I was paying at the clinic) but Its fine... You should have tried a few different kinds before deciding its the worst thing....
