I have begun a hunt for a new job recently, so far have applied at subway, mcdonalds, walmart, kmart, burger king, and officemax. Anyone know if any of these corporations have a drug testing policy? Particularly subway, as I got called for an interview there sometime next week.
i know for sure mcdicks, burger king, and wal-mart test, dunno about officemax and subway. idk why subway would drug test, all subway is is stoner food
I was thinking subway might because its supposed to be like a healthy food alternative, and shit... Most big corporations seem to test...
Hmm if anyone has any information if K-MART or Safeway tests that would be great, there is a bussy intersection down the road with a bus stop and loads of businesses, perfect opportunity for a job around home
Do what I did. Find a nice small business that isnt a big chain. I just yesterday got accepted for a job at a horse ranch in walking distance from my house as a trail leader. I ride horse and have a bunch of people follow me through all the trails in the woods behind the ranch for 8.50 an hour.
my old boss told me the only reason he works in the restraunt business is because no restraunts drug test... other then for workmans comp related conflicts.
I work at PETsMART and they tested me.... dont know how i passed..... but if they tested me i think those other places will too....
Working in a restraunt kicks ass.... i hope i never have to work anywhere else... i love cooking food.... the other nice perk is that yes they dont test... well most of them dont.. unless you work for some big corperate chain that has to worry big time about liabilities... plus where else can you work and get stoned and have almost an endless option for what to eat when you get the munchies..... drug tests dont really matter to me anyways... my boss(the owner of the establishment) knows i smoke pot... he said one day "you like your pot like i like my alcohol" i said "well if you like your alcohol as much as i like my pot... then you've gotta be an alcoholic" and he laughed.....
The only places I've really heard of testing like those are some grocery stores: Publix and such. I just applied for a grocery store, Piggly Wiggly, and I'm really hoping they don't test, I didn't even think about it. So far I've worked at Burger King and Wendy's and neither of those places tested. Everyone at BK were total stoners, like we would go on breaks and smoke in our cars and shit, all the managers knew, they were cool as long as we did our jobs and didn't fuck up too much.
i worked at subway and they didnt test me. i know family dollar will test you in their tiny ass bathroom and the manager will try to watch you pee HAHAHAHAHA i walked out before i was even hired!!!
anyone know about marshalls?...i blatently refuse to work somewhere that drug tests, i think its an invasion of privicy, and breaks any trust that could exsist between the employer, and employee...so i know that six flags, and all cedar fairs parks drug test(cedar point, geauga lake)...but i dont know about anything else...
