Peace Maegan, well what i have done is threw away every bolt, screw, washer, seal, grommet, and mount and i am going to buy all new seals, washers, screws, bolts, nuts, grommets, etc. but if there are any parts left i just hope i dont have alot or i may have to tear her down again later the tired flower child
Kewl seeing another auto nut. We're in the middle of restoring a 72 VW Camper. Has a Porsche 914 in her. I'm just in the learning process but enjoying it. Peace.
Hi Josh,glad to see your really into restoring your chebby.For restoration parts,try, www.yearone.com they have it all.ALSO,on sunday mornings,you might want to watch Speed channel.They have a number of good informative shows just right for you.I watch them every sunday just to see whats new on the market(okay,old habits die hard).We just sold our last custom bike,and are gearing up for our next project.Our shop is finally busy.We've built one custom for a guy,and have just completed a total restoration on another.Life am good.
