I haven't been able to really hear out of my right ear for a while

I have no clue what is up, its like I got water in it but its that extended feeling. Its been off and on for a week or more. I think my ear is just sensitive. I also may have gotten this from a shower within the past few days. But other times I wake up from sleep and my hearing sucks out of my right ear. Sometimes it sorta pops and feels better but the past two days have sucked. I admit I play with my ear a lot to try and fix things, I hope I'm not making matters worse. But its getting to the point where I am getting use to it. But it throws off my perception of everything, seriously. What could be wrong? I hope I am not going deaf, music is my life!

have a doctor check it out. but I'd bet you have ear wax plugs that need removal

for a few day before you see your doc, drop some cooking oil into your ear, helps soften up the wax

the doctor will fill up big syring wiht warm saopy water and and squirt it into your ear to loosenup and remove the wax plugs

probably is a wax buildup than..but it must be deep in their, cause I can't see it simply looking in the mirror.

if you think you got water in it, then before you go to the doc i would just run to wal mart or somewhere and get a swimmers ear kit. it has ear drops in it that dry up the water and basically work instantly. then if that doesnt help, maybe you can have a doc clean it out. if you think it is just wax, maybe try ear candeling, there is a thread on it on here already so maybe check that out

It sounds like what my mom gets yearly- which would mean you have an ear infection. Definatly go see a doctor ASAP. I know with my mom, she gets blocked ears like that and has to go to the doctor and get put on anti-biotics and stuff until it all clears up.

Is it like a pressure/plugged up feeling? Fluid can stay in your ears for a long time.
