Under what condition would you label someone a "Loaner"

The impression that I have of a loaner is someone that doesn't have many friends and doesn't talk in school and sits alone in class and wonders around town all day.


What's your impression?

 

I think a loaner is someone that lends people money

 

A loner.. no i think loners wish to do and talk about things that nobody else wishes to do or talk about.

No many friends ?..even people that have lots of friends can be lonely. Its the quality not the quantity

AnyWHO.....I feel a loner is someone who prefers to be alone. They don't have a lot of friends because they don't want any. It's not necessarily a negative thing.

some loners feel they are too inept to socialize although they wish they could be social
and other loners actually enjoy isolating themselves.

A "Loner" is one who is usually ALONE and prefers it that way. I know. I are one.

If someone wants to socialize only amongst him / herself, and spaces themself from people to the point they don't want even acquaintances, then I would consider that a loner. Anyone can walk the town and not talk in school yet still have fun with friends and be social; it is one that doesn't want really much to do with anyone that truly defines 'lonerdom'.

 

ive been a loner for many years,
but it does come back to bite you in the ass at some points...but when i get out, man do i party. i actually have many friends, alot of them have moved away. i do socialize more than the average loner though.

 

i wouldnt label someone because i personally dont like when people label me have you ever heard the phrase dirty hippy that just aint right.
