in my book futurama was the funniest animated series during it's few years, yes better than the simpsons. since it's paired up with family guy on adult swim a lot of people compare it to that and most people prefer family guy. that's because people are stupid, on futurama the humor actually requires a moment's thought. i love this show!
Adult swim! Yah!! Family guy is kind of crappy, it as it moments but over all it is not very good. The problem is that it has saturday night live syndrome. That is when they make one slightly amusing skit and think that the more they do it to death funnier it will be. Futurama is neat, probably not strickly "better" than the Simpsons but I would rather watch it.
I'm watchin it right now actually! It's the one where bender, Leela & Fry get booted out of the professors house/lab.
I just finished watching that episode, heh Futurama is most definately better than the Simpsons, IMHO. Still, I don't go out of my way to watch it, only catch it if nothing else interesting is on.
Please don't make fun of Family Guy. That rocks. But anyways Futurama is a great show when I first watched it I was a little to young. I now watch every waking minute along with family guy them two together are great. Two different types of humor, but hold their own in totally different ways. I would hope they would bring that show back because there is so much they can do with that show. The simpson are great but i can't beleive that its still going. A lot of the shows are repeats I think.
Does anyone get why Adult Swim keeps flip flopping shows and there time slots? They flip Futurama and Family Guy every other month.
Man Futerama is soooooooooooooooo damn funny I love it, infact I love all cartoons, cartoons rule no matter what age you are
This is a great show, but it is not better than the old simpsons. And Family guys has its funny moments. I like Family Guy and the Simpsons b/c they have alot of political and social satire!
