Is it wierd.....

    so whenever i start to get in a meditative state... i start gettin really dizzy like im gonna pass out and whatnot... is this normal or is something wrong??? sorry if this has been asked before......

    i don't have any suggestions as to how to stop this, but i'm pretty sure you're doing something wrong. maybe it's your poster, maybe try the recliner technique. that's what i do to meditate. but that's never happened with me, sorry i couldn't be of more help.

    What I've been told is that is your mind losing itself and your energy moving to your dan tien. Just make sure your breating with your diaphram, not your chest and pulling your breath to your dan tien "about 2 inches below your naval". Take full breaths in and out and relax. Don't take them to fast or too slow. I've heard people say the less you breath the better but none of them had any actuall meditation training. I was self tought until I met my sensei who tought me a new method. He learned if from his master who learned it from his master who learned it from his master, etc. back to the sholin temples. Try tracking down a martial arts teacher, they know how.
