wow someone actually WANTS to live here??????? Im shocked... usually when I say I'm from WV I get made fun of how I talk or hear jokes about inbreeding and all that good stuff. Well I feel special now
I like the hills of west virginia, great place for a festival! WV has many states beat in terms of nature, actually.
i live in WV. Charleston to be exact. It is nice to visit nature wise i suppose. But DAMN it's boring to live here. You'll hear that out of pretty much everyone also.
I lived in West Virginia for a little over a year. Yes, it is a beautiful state, but in my opinion, there are far better states to live in on the east coast if you're looking to live in a place of natural (mountainous) beauty. Anyday of the week I'd choose these states for natural beauty over wv on the east coast Vermont New Hampshire North Carolina (western) New York Maine Virginia (blue ridge) Tennessee (eastern)
Hey I'm in Morganhole! Born & raised! No, I hate WV because life is made much harder here. The cost of living is comparable to major cities like Chicago. There's usually help for people to live their life in any other state but not here. I hate WV because the rich people moved in, took over, and they only hire their own kind. So local adults who were born here and are more than a 1st generation West Virginian are completely SCREWED out of ever being able to provide for themselves.
i kind of like it , it is a pretty place but i agree with DHS some of those places sure do beat it. i used to make those jokes, but now i have been there and actually know some of those WV'ers,... and they arent so bad
is it weird that when i saw the title of this i thought it said west vagina. then when i realized i was wrong i laughed for about five minutes? then again, i'm kinda high so that might be it.
