Hi. I already posted in the "communal living" section because that's basically why I'm here. I'm not really a hippy, more of a goth/rivethead but oh well. (I do love the green stuff though.) I'm 27 and am from West Virginia....An only child who wasn't cared about, tossed to the streets and the wind, and I don't have any friends at all. The "friends" I thought I had only use me as someone to dump on and feel superior to. I've been homeless off and on since I was a teenager. I don't fit into the world on any level and I just wish there were somewhere I could go to live outside of society and be treated like a human being for once in my life.

It isn't too much to ask and in fact I feel that way often. My boyfriend, our baby daughter and myself live in Downtown Orlando, Florida; long way from West Virginia but seconds apart from your state of mind. I'm typing this quick reply to let you know someone your age and your mentality exists and is in fact looking for people like you, people who "need it" and "get it". That "it" is what makes us human and special, the ability to love and be undestood, even after being tried and judged as "the mainstream" knows how to do best. And I'm not really a hippie, either, I'm more of this pierced bohemian... but we still dress up better than "the norm"
