Is "wanna watch a movie?" code for "wanna have sex?"

Every time my exboyfriend would ask me over to "watch a movie" after the first couple miniutes he wouldnt even be looking at the screen anymore and its like he was ready to have sex. I dont think we ever got half way through a movie before it ended up as sex. OKay i have no problem with the sex, but a lot of those times i was just fine with cuddling and watching a movie... THEN having sex after. but it never really happened like that. Its not like i am more into the movies than my man, i just wanted to be able to "hang out' with him by doing something other than sex... so i just was wondering.. have you guys ever experienced this in your relationships? or have you been the one who really just wanted to get it on? i was just wondering if thats normal, or if there are guys out there who will actually "watch" a movie with you without it turning into sex.

 

i realy think you should turn the movie off .......so youll like realy be where you are .

 

That's never happened to me, and even if whoever I was with had that in mind, if I'm cudding up with someone during a movie I almost always fall asleep. The second I start getting warm and comfy I kind of drift off.

when my ex and I would watch a movie, we watched the entire movie and then had sex. pretty forumlaic, it sucked. But yeah, that sounds like code. Talk to him about it, just ask if you can finish the movie first then go have sexy fun (unless you're fine with missing the other half of hte movie.)

I've been there as well. In the end it turned out he was just in it for the sex which was upsetting but I was glad I found out before I cared too much for him.

Myself, i really love gettin on with my lady, but i also like watching a movie with her, and enjoying it and taking it in with her, and finding out what she thinks about it. often, i will watch a movie for the second time within days if she wants to see it, just because i like to share shit like that with her. now, dont get me wrong, im not saying we never get down in the middle of a movie(all it takes is a well placed sex scene, and she wouldnt let me watch it if i wanted), or that we dont get to it afterwards a lot, but its definitely never expected. wheres the fun in that?
