I have been stitching for 6 years now and...

    never sewed my finger...until today. :( Damn. The needle went through the whole side of my finger. *sigh*

    On a happier note..the bag I was working on got no blood on it and it is sweet! :D Will post pics when i don't have a baby on my lap.

    I haven't put a needle through my finger before, but I've managed to staple it and stick it through with pins. LOL, true talent right there.;)

    EEehh that sounds like it hurts. I have never done that before but I have burned myself with the iron plenty of times ;) Yaaah for not getting any blood on your work!!

    yeah when i sew, and i have pins stickin out of the fabric.. i get stuck all the time. its not fun but ive gotten use to it

    I know how you feel! That hurtss! lol!
    I was embroidering once in the car, and I didn't realized that I sewed most of the stupid thing to my pants. I was really upset......it turned out really good, too, and I had to rip it all out :(

    I DID THAT !!!!!!

    i did the same exact thing when i was maybe 14 years old the needle went right through my finger and broke off. you could see it just under the skin on one side and just under the finger nail on the other side (needle went through the nail and then the needle broke) had to see my dr to get it pulled out. really freaked my mom out, lol!

    sorry it happened to you! i soooooo know how it feels. hope it heals quickly!

    Ahh, that sucks! I would have finished it and left it on the pants..then again it was probably upside down, eh?

    kraftykathy~ omg, that makes me feel queasy just thnking of it breaking off in there...and the thought of it going through your nail..... :eek:

    eh, a small needle-poke scar doessn't phase me in the least..i have enough of them all over my body from my piercing phase lol

    I have ahd my finger crushed by the knob the screws the needle into the machine... that hurt wicked bad!!! Nice Bag.... I love it

    thats happened top me a few times ... and my natural reaction is to tence up... puching my foot further onto the pedal making it worse :S

    ive never sewn into my finger though sounds horrible.
