Could anyone here give me some links to some culinary schools other than CIA? Id greatly appreciate it, and if anyone here has ever been to a culinary school could you tell me some about it?
http://www.artinstitutes.edu/ http://www.cordonbleu.net/flashindex.html ^^^ those are two of the other bigger culinary schools... even though i think le cordon bleu is a joke since anyone that i've seen thats graduated from one of their schools seems to know squat about culinary arts
plus they're pretty freakin expensive (at least, back when I looked at them three years ago they were). And they can't pronounce "cordon bleu" correctly in their commercial. Hell, I even sent them an email bitching about it.... saying bleu really isn't that difficult, honest... but it is pronounced differently than blue. *growls*
i don't actually know of any, except i think maybe pennsylvania culinary institute?? anyway, my point is, i think they're all really expensive, no matter what
thats the one in florida right? if im correct they're like #2 behind CIA.... and i worked with a guy that graduated from there... he knew his shit... they did some really cool stuff there... lotta artsy presentation
oh yea... they're still really expensive.... i think for a 4yr degree at cia its a little over a $100,000 that dont include boarding...... Le Cordon Bleu and Ai are about $25,000 for a one year course
