Taize is a little village in France, near Lyon It's formally ecumenical community, but : I was there last year (I'm atheist)... and it was a great time. a lot of fun, cheap drink, marijauna, sex... and a little (or even nothing ) of religion There was about 5000 young people from all around the world. and more than 80 % of these people just looking for fun... I will planning to visit Taize also this year, between 17. and 25. july what do you think about Taize?
I've never been there but heard of it many times!! It sounds like a nice place, I'd love to visit there sometime...
my friend went there i think hes from ireland and it was some catholic thing, anyway he said it was amazing!
Some guys from my school went there last year... well, they told us it was great but they're a bunch of stupid idiots and I think they were drunk and stoned the whole time long... I'd really like to go there some time, seems a nice opportunity to meet people from all over Europe
not just from europe, you can meet people from dominican republic, ethiopia, sudan, mali, brasil... and, don't worry, there is nothing catholic there... just one church, like in every other village
one of my dear friend from rome... the guy that has started the www.inter-rail.it community... has been there many times... and he told me it is awesome!! gotta go there sometime!!!
Justyna (SunAngel) told me she went there and that it was very very good! or is it these Taize meetings all over the Europe (some religious thing, I think) ? Like the one in Hamburg last winter... I dunno, sounds like a nice place (Taize), anyway! Whereabout is it? Which part of France? Love, Borut
