running when ripped

    ok, try this, it works for me. to get moderately ripped. then go running. you feel heavier, however, you dont get tired. well at least i dont. i cud keep sprinting for ages if i cud be bothere. i feel the muscles straingin their ass of, and teh pain, but it doesnt bother me, i jsut run through it. but u need to be wanting to run, otherwise yud jsut get bored.

    so i was thinkning, wouldnt it be good fitness technique to smoke weed, eat lots of healthy foods and sports drinks, then go sprint a few hundreed metres, then jog a few kilometres? (or miles or whatever) i recon it worth looking into.

    but yeah often u jsut get bored. even then tho, u look back at what you run and its like 'wow thats about 100 metres in 13 seconds! im hungry. haha look at that pidgeon, its trying to jump over the other pidgeon hahahahaha *cough*'

    i dont' know, but it quite possibly could help. i know from getting moderatley high before soccer games that i would be able to run the field more often or maybe i just felt that i was able to and i just did the same amount of running as i would have without getting high.

    either way, running is good for you.

    well, i was on all county track this year, and i smoked and drank at meets....i ran 55m HH and i won most the time.

    I have noticed this also. But, since I don't do a lot of physical stuff, I do 80 situps and pushups at night before bed. These are insanely hard and torturous when I'm stoned, but I feel like 3 times as high when I finish them.

    I used to get fucken wasted and start running my ass off at this park. it was so fun. those were the goood old days :p

    I have some friends who would get high and then go lift weights for track... I, myself, find nothing more groovy than getting blazed and going out to run barefooted through a thunderstorm; try it sometime.

    i went running in this wet and cold sport oval, and when i finnished i cudnt feal my feet at all, they were completely numb. im sure the smoking had to do with ti of course.

    there are os many sides to getting high tho... i mean, you can get stoned and mellow.. or high and hyper. thats usualyl only at the begginning of a trip tho

    I actually tried this once. I figured hey if I get real high before I run it'll be fun right? Ends up I was so out of shape it didn't matter. I smoked two bowls and 1/2 a joint and did my best to run 2 miles. It was no way to spend my time high though. Definetly killed my high. Maybe when I'm in shape it'll be more fun.

    It's funny that you mentioned this, 'cause I smoked two joints straight yesterday and then went out to ride my bike, and I was riding it insanely fast. In fact, and I'm not even kidding about this, a cop stopped me and told me that if I was planning on riding that fast I should use the main road instead of the side-walk or slow down. I told him I didn't know the rules of the roads yet, though, and he let me ride on.

    I got 2 miles in 2 minutes. lol That's like 60 mph.

    Holy shit! We should go running together! I came up with that same theory. When I'm high I ask people to run with me and they give me weird looks but do it any ways. It's soo much fun!

    Just the thought of running that much after smoking hurts my throat. Might be the ciggaretes and beer that make running hard tho, who knows.

    I to am out of shape, I find even running up the stairs exhausts me, I drink alot of pop and smoke alot of pot, I need to cut down on pop, but pot...I dont think Im ready to cut down on it, maybe in winter holidays.

    You are so lucky. One time I smoked like half a bowl, if that, before going to the gym. I spent all of a minute on the stair climber before all of my muscles tensed up and freaked out. I don' know what it was exactly but I barely made it out of there walking. Something about the way weed effects my body is strange. I get Parkinson's-like symptoms and it scares the shit out of me. (Not enough to stop though). I have unusually low blood pressure so I think smoking makes it worse. So when it comes to running I need an energy drink or something to overpower the weeds sluggishness effect on my body. Other drugs like 'e' are the extreme opposite though.

    when im really high i cant run cuz i fall down alot. but whenever i get high i walk really really fast

    I run cross-country and track, and while I don't race or practice high, I have run while im high. Even though im used to running for 5 or more miles at a time, running while high almost gives me a heartattack after about .5 a mile. However, I have found that if I get high about 2 hours before my afternoon run, the buzz has already started to wear off, but I still feel relaxed and giddy. Makes for a great run!

    My b/f and I we play tennis alot and go to the gym about 3-4 times a week. We usually get a lil high before going.
    I don't know if I run faster..or jump higher..hehe..but It doesn't bother me. I do enjoy it, it relaxes me so I can just let loose and get a good work out..or play a good tennis match..

    A friend of mine smoked once the before a XC meet, he got his personal best that race. If you get really blazed one night and you wake up feeling really strong after-effects, you should go and lift weights. Ive done it a couple of times, its amazing how much harder you can push yourself, you hardly feel the muscle fatigue so you can work your self until your muscles run out of energy.
